Accounts and profiles
You may browse public content without signing in. When you create an account, we process your account identifier, email and authentication information, including information returned by Google or Apple if you choose their sign-in. We store profile information you provide, such as name, username, phone number, biography, location, avatar and banner, and your language and privacy preferences. Public profile fields and content may be visible to other people according to the available visibility settings.
Posts, stories, reviews and rewards
We process the text, photos, videos and other media you upload, comments, ratings, likes, shop tags, content visibility choices, timestamps and reports or blocks. We associate participation and coupon records with your account to calculate rewards, enforce earning limits, prevent misuse and process redemptions. Anonymous comments or ratings hide your displayed identity from other users; they are still linked to your account internally. Content shared publicly can be viewed or copied by other people.
Shops, orders and appointments
If you run a shop, we process its business/contact details, address and coordinates, products, services, availability, offers and campaigns. Booking requests include your name, phone, service, requested time, answers and optional notes, and are shared with the chosen provider. Orders and coupon redemptions are shared with the relevant shop for fulfilment and recordkeeping. Avoid entering sensitive medical or legal case details in booking notes. Providers separately control information they process for their own services.
Location and contacts
With your device permission, Nook uses your foreground location to find nearby shops. Coordinates are sent to our search service and may be used with Google Places to retrieve nearby businesses. You can deny or revoke location access in device settings. Contact invitations use your device contact picker and messaging/share tools. Nook does not upload your address book to its servers; you choose the recipient and send the invitation yourself.
Assistant, recommendations and analytics
Questions and relevant prior search context sent to the Ari assistant can be processed through Amazon Bedrock to interpret your request. Shop content tools may process text supplied for drafting. Do not include passwords or sensitive personal information in AI prompts. We process interactions with shops and promotions, purchases and redemptions to operate recommendations, measure shop activity and provide shop analytics. Promoted placements are labelled. We do not use an advertising identifier to track you across other companies’ apps or websites in this release.
Service providers and payments
Our infrastructure uses Amazon Web Services, principally in the Frankfurt region; some providers and support services may process data elsewhere. Apple and Google process sign-in data when selected, and platform/map services may process device and network information when used. Support correspondence is handled through Gmail. External links and messaging apps have their own privacy notices. Paid in-app shop upgrades are unavailable in the first store release. If you use a separately enabled web payment flow, its payment provider processes payment details; Nook processes the resulting transaction/status records rather than your full card information.
Why we use this information
We use information to provide accounts, publishing, discovery, bookings, orders and rewards you request (performance of a contract, GDPR Article 6(1)(b)); to maintain security, prevent fraud, moderate content, resolve issues and improve our services (legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f)); and to fulfil applicable legal duties (Article 6(1)(c)). Optional device access or other consent-based processing uses your permission/consent where required (Article 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing. Supplying required account, booking or order details is necessary to use those features.
Storage and deletion
Account and service records are retained while needed to provide the service, process requests, prevent misuse or meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Retention depends on the record and purpose; an expired story or coupon does not mean every associated record is immediately erased. Operational logs and backups may remain after changes to live data. You can request account and associated-data deletion by emailing support.nook.247@gmail.com from the address linked to your account, with the subject “Nook account deletion”. We may verify ownership. We assess records for deletion or anonymisation and explain any information that must be retained and why. Removing the app from your phone does not delete your account.
Your choices and rights
You can edit profile details and available visibility settings, revoke device permissions, and contact us for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to processing, subject to applicable law. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing. You can complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, including the Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (datenschutzzentrum.de). Contact us for information about recipients and safeguards for any relevant international transfer.
Security, age and changes
We use access controls and encrypted network connections to protect information; no system provides absolute security. Nook is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information. We update this notice when our practices change and show the revision date above.

Konten und Profile
Öffentliche Inhalte können ohne Anmeldung angesehen werden. Bei der Registrierung verarbeiten wir Kontokennung, E-Mail und Authentifizierungsinformationen, gegebenenfalls von Apple oder Google. Freiwillige Profilangaben umfassen Name, Nutzername, Telefonnummer, Biografie, Standort, Profilbild, Banner sowie Sprach- und Privatsphäre-Einstellungen. Öffentliche Angaben und Inhalte sind entsprechend den verfügbaren Sichtbarkeitseinstellungen für andere sichtbar.
Inhalte und Gutscheine
Wir verarbeiten hochgeladene Texte, Fotos, Videos, Kommentare, Bewertungen, Likes, Shop-Markierungen, Sichtbarkeit, Zeitangaben, Meldungen und Blockierungen. Teilnahme- und Gutscheinaufzeichnungen werden dem Konto zugeordnet, um Belohnungen zu berechnen, Grenzen durchzusetzen, Missbrauch zu verhindern und Einlösungen abzuwickeln. Anonyme Bewertungen und Kommentare bleiben intern dem Konto zugeordnet. Andere können öffentliche Inhalte ansehen oder kopieren.
Shops, Bestellungen und Termine
Shopdaten umfassen Geschäfts- und Kontaktdaten, Adresse, Koordinaten, Produkte, Leistungen, Verfügbarkeit und Aktionen. Terminanfragen mit Name, Telefon, Leistung, Zeit, Antworten und optionalen Notizen werden an den gewählten Anbieter weitergegeben. Bestellungen und Gutscheineinlösungen werden mit dem betroffenen Shop zur Abwicklung geteilt. Bitte keine sensiblen medizinischen oder juristischen Falldetails in Terminnotizen eintragen. Anbieter sind für ihre eigene weitere Verarbeitung verantwortlich.
Standort und Kontakte
Mit Geräteberechtigung senden wir den Vordergrundstandort an die Shopsuche; dabei kann Google Places zur Suche nach Geschäften verwendet werden. Die Berechtigung lässt sich in den Geräteeinstellungen widerrufen. Einladungen verwenden die Kontaktauswahl und Nachrichten-/Teilen-Funktionen des Geräts. Das Adressbuch wird nicht auf Nook-Server hochgeladen; du wählst Empfänger und Versand selbst.
Assistent und Auswertung
An Ari gesendete Fragen und vorheriger Suchkontext können durch Amazon Bedrock verarbeitet werden. Shop-Textwerkzeuge können eingegebene Entwürfe verarbeiten. Bitte keine Passwörter oder sensiblen Daten an die KI senden. Interaktionen mit Shops und Aktionen sowie Bestellungen und Einlösungen dienen Empfehlungen, Funktionsbetrieb und Shopstatistiken. Beworbene Platzierungen werden gekennzeichnet. Diese Version nutzt keine Werbekennung zur Verfolgung über Apps oder Websites anderer Unternehmen.
Dienstleister
Wir nutzen Amazon Web Services, überwiegend in Frankfurt. Einzelne Dienstleister oder Supportfunktionen können Daten auch andernorts verarbeiten. Apple und Google verarbeiten Daten bei gewählter Anmeldung; Plattform- und Kartendienste können Netzwerk- und Gerätedaten verarbeiten. Support-E-Mails werden über Gmail bearbeitet. Externe Links und Nachrichten-Apps haben eigene Datenschutzhinweise. Kostenpflichtige Shop-Upgrades sind in der ersten Store-Version nicht verfügbar. Bei separat aktivierten Webzahlungen erhält der Zahlungsanbieter Zahlungsdaten; Nook verarbeitet Transaktions- und Statusdaten statt vollständiger Kartendaten.
Zwecke und Rechtsgrundlagen
Konten, Veröffentlichungen, Suche, Termine, Bestellungen und Belohnungen werden zur Vertragserfüllung verarbeitet (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO). Sicherheit, Missbrauchsschutz, Moderation, Fehlerbehebung und Verbesserung beruhen auf berechtigten Interessen (lit. f). Gesetzliche Pflichten beruhen auf lit. c; einwilligungsbedürftige optionale Verarbeitung auf lit. a. Einwilligungen können mit Wirkung für die Zukunft widerrufen werden. Erforderliche Konto-, Termin- oder Bestellangaben sind Voraussetzung für die jeweilige Funktion.
Aufbewahrung und Löschung
Daten bleiben gespeichert, solange sie für den Dienst, Anfragen, Missbrauchsschutz oder gesetzliche Pflichten erforderlich sind. Die Dauer hängt von Datenart und Zweck ab. Abgelaufene Stories oder Gutscheine führen nicht automatisch zur sofortigen Löschung sämtlicher zugehöriger Daten. Protokolle und Sicherungen können länger bestehen. Kontolöschung und Löschung zugehöriger Daten können über support.nook.247@gmail.com mit dem Betreff „Nook account deletion“ angefragt werden, möglichst von der Konto-E-Mail. Wir können die Kontoinhaberschaft prüfen, Daten löschen oder anonymisieren und erläutern notwendige Ausnahmen. Deinstallation allein löscht das Konto nicht.
Deine Rechte
Du kannst Angaben und verfügbare Sichtbarkeitseinstellungen ändern, Geräteberechtigungen widerrufen sowie Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung, Übertragbarkeit oder Widerspruch nach geltendem Recht verlangen. Widerspruch gegen Direktwerbung und Verarbeitung aufgrund berechtigter Interessen ist möglich. Beschwerden sind bei einer Datenschutzaufsichtsbehörde möglich, etwa dem Unabhängigen Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (datenschutzzentrum.de). Informationen zu Empfängern und Schutzmaßnahmen bei internationalen Übermittlungen erhältst du auf Anfrage.
Sicherheit und Alter
Zugriffskontrollen und verschlüsselte Verbindungen schützen Daten, bieten jedoch keine absolute Sicherheit. Nook richtet sich an Erwachsene, nicht an Kinder. Bitte melde uns Daten eines Kindes. Änderungen dieser Erklärung werden mit aktualisiertem Datum veröffentlicht.
